Yesterday, Thomas Law Offices hosted an event at the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia with a surprise visit from Senior Quarterback Brady Cook from the University of Missouri. Cook partnered with Thomas Law Offices to provide new shoes to kids from the Club’s summer camp. Cook, the starting quarterback for the Missouri football team said, “I’ve been blessed, and now I can be a blessing to others – and that’s why I work hard every day.” The kids received shoes and footballs with his signature. After finishing last season as the number eight ranked team in the country and third in the SEC, Missouri hopes to continue their success after winning the Cotton Bowl against Ohio State and take advantage of the new 12-team playoff format that will be implemented for this upcoming college football season.
Thomas Law Offices donated around 50 pairs of shoes in their first partnership with the club. Our founder, Tad Thomas, said “We’re grateful to have provided new shoes to the children of the Boy & Girls Club of Columbia, it has been an awarding experience, and we are excited to continue more of these events across the country.”
