New Year’s Eve Uber Campaign Was a Huge Success

Published on Jan 2, 2017 at 2:06 pm in Messages.

Thanks to you, Louisville, almost 100 residents pledged to get home safe this New Year’s Eve. Thomas Law Offices ran a campaign this year to give away 25 free Uber passes to Louisville residents wishing to celebrate on New Year’s Eve while keeping our roads as safe as possible. These residents pledged to get home after ringing in 2017 without getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol.

We’re happy to announce that the campaign was a tremendous success. We received nearly 100 pledges after word got out about our campaign on Louisville’s WAVE 3 News and WHAS 11 News stations.

We were incredibly humbled by the response our campaign had. We decided to award as many pledges as we could with an Uber pass. The first 25 pledges received passes in the amount of up to $25 off while the next 70 residents who pledged before the deadline received a pass in the amount of up to $10 off. For anyone who missed out– don’t worry. We’ll be sure to hold the campaign again next year!

Everyone who works at Thomas Law Offices is committed to doing everything we can to keep Louisville roads safe. Drunk driving is one of the leading causes of tragic car accidents in the state of Kentucky, and we wholeheartedly believe that by increasing awareness and running campaigns like this that encourage local residents to think about the implications of getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol, we can bring the numbers of drunk driving fatalities down to an absolute minimum.

Zero drunk driving crashes and fatalities is the goal, but we have a long way to go to get there. We can only get there by working as a team. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can spread the word. Together, we can keep our families safe from terrible crashes that shouldn’t happen.

For more information or to find out how you can help obtain justice for you or a loved one who was involved in a devastating crash with a drunk driver, feel free to reach out to our office at any time. Tad Thomas, Louisville, KY car accident lawyer, and his expert team of personal injury attorneys are on your side– today and every day of the year.

Happy New Year, Louisville. Let’s make 2017 as good as it can be.
