Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and by visiting a variety of local parks, towns, and scenic areas. Mike is an avid fan of the Missouri Tigers and the Kansas City Royals. He and his wife are passionate about animals and frequently adopt and foster cats and dogs.
In the community, Mike volunteers his time assisting high school students in the Missouri Ethics’ Bowl and is one of sixteen individuals nationwide selected to serve as an advisor on the Columbia College Alumni Association’s Advisory Council, where he works on the Philanthropy Committee. He is also involved with the American Association of Justice and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, where he is a member of the Board of Governors, associate editor of “Trial” magazine, and sits on several of the organization’s committees. Mike frequently presents for continuing legal education seminars across the County, is an internationally published author, and serves on the faculty for American Association for Justice’s Deposition Skills College.
