Lindsy Lopez attended Iowa State University with a double major in Political Science/International studies and a minor in music before going on to graduate from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2009. During law school, she served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Iowa Law Review, as well as a clerk with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota. Mrs. Lopez graduated with honors and was a recipient of the Boyd Service Award for her commitment to public service during law school.

After graduation, Mrs. Lopez joined a small law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her focus was civil litigation, with specialization in large loss and catastrophe litigation including fires and explosions, product liability, property and casualty litigation, and complex insurance coverage disputes.

In 2013, Mrs. Lopez relocated to Kentucky, was admitted to the Kentucky bar and joined Thomas Law Offices in April of 2013 as an associate.

Since joining Thomas Law Offices, Lindsy has become a member of American Association for Justice (AAJ), Kentucky Justice Association (KJA), and Women Lawyers’ Association (WLA). She also serves on the communications committee for the Louisville Bar Association. She continues to practice civil litigation, focusing on the area of personal injury.

When Lindsy is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Jose and their two sons. Her hobbies include playing flute and exploring nature. She also enjoys volunteering with her church to give back to the community.

Tad Thomas has dedicated his practice to representing plaintiffs in various types of civil litigation, including personal injury, business litigation, class actions, and multi-district litigation.

After graduating with his law degree in 2000 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, Mr. Thomas immediately opened his own private practice and began representing injury victims.

In 2011, Thomas Law Offices was established in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the past decade, Mr. Thomas has expanded his firm and now has offices in three additional locations: Cincinnati, Ohio, Columbia, Missouri, and Chicago, Illinois. He is also a frequent lecturer on topics like trial skills and ethics and technology.
