The American Association for Justice (AAJ) is one of the nation’s leading legal organizations that focuses on helping lawyers and other legal professionals represent their legal clients to the best of their abilities. Between providing educational opportunities for members, helping law offices embrace new types of technology, fighting for the right to trial by jury, and giving legal professionals the tools to become industry leaders, the AAJ helps ensure the success of today’s lawyers—and tomorrow’s.
As part of the AAJ’s offerings, they have a program called the AAJ Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy is an initiative of AAJ’s Diversity Committee and gives accepted members the techniques and skills required to make them effective leaders in the legal profession. 14-16 plaintiff trial lawyers representing various backgrounds and practice areas are allowed into the Leadership Academy every year.
Thomas Law Offices is proud to announce that Lindsay Cordes, an associate at our law firm, has been accepted into the 2017 class of AAJ’s Leadership Academy. Lindsay was also recognized as a Rising Star Super Lawyer in July 2016 and we are honored to have her practicing with us. She’s quickly become one of Louisville’s leading personal injury attorneys.
Regarding the honor, Lindsay has this to say:
“I am extremely excited to have been accepted into the 2017 class of the American Association for Justice Leadership Academy. I am looking forward to participating in this experience to help cultivate and improve my leadership skills so I can better represent my clients in and out of the courtroom. I am so grateful to have the support of Thomas Law Offices and look forward to following in Tad’s footsteps, as he is a former graduate of the AAJ Leadership Academy.”
Lindsay’s primary areas of practice include civil litigation with an emphasis in serious personal injury, product liability, nursing home negligence, domestic relations, and sexual harassment/Title IX claims.
Congratulations, Lindsay! We’re looking forward to supporting you as you continue to succeed and become a leading trial lawyer in our state and nation.
