Have You Been Injured? We're Ready to Fight for You.

Congratulating Tad Thomas, the New Secretary of the American Association for Justice

Published on Jul 31, 2019 at 11:27 am in News.

At Thomas Law Offices, we take pride in all of the ways we’re able to assist our local communities and help clients who are in need of quality legal representation. We’re also proud of every effort we take to fight for a fair and effective trial jury system. We believe that every American has a right to hold another person, group, or corporation liable in cases of wrongdoings or negligence– no matter the size of a corporation’s bank accounts. The civil justice system gives Americans this right.

Tad Thomas has served at the forefront of one of the leading organizations in the nation that supports the civil justice system for many years. This organization is none other than the American Association for Justice (AAJ). AAJ works hard to strengthen the civil justice system and protect the rights of injured victims who can hold responsible parties accountable via trial by jury to enact improvements and safeguard other potential victims at local, statewide, and federal levels.

Two years ago, Tad first served as AAJ Parliamentarian, then Treasurer the year after. Just this past weekend at AAJ’s 2019 Annual Convention in San Diego, Tad was elected and sworn in as the new American Association for Justice Secretary. Under this new role, Tad aims to continue helping AAJ become the best organization it can be as well as help lawyers improve the way in which they practice law– all the while fighting for fairness and equality inside all U.S. courtrooms.

Tad has this to say about this year’s conference and his new role as Secretary:

“San Diego makes a great place for a conference. I am privileged to serve with a great group of officers for the next year. Looking forward to serving as the Secretary of the American Association for Justice and working to defend Americans’ 7th Amendment right to open courts.”

Congratulations, Tad! The position is well-deserved. We look forward to seeing the success this new year brings to the organization. And a special thanks to all of Tad’s supporters, sponsors, family members, and friends!
