Lindsay Cordes is a 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and the University of Kentucky Appeals Board. Ms. Cordes received the CALI award for the highest grade in her Family Law course. Regarding her undergraduate education, Ms. Cordes graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with joint degrees in Business Management and Marketing in 2007.

After graduation from law school, Ms. Cordes joined a small law firm in Louisville, Kentucky. Her focus was domestic relations with an emphasis on complex divorce, child custody and paternity cases. During that time, Ms. Cordes gained extensive courtroom and legal writing experience, including appellate advocacy.

Ms. Cordes joined Thomas Law Offices in May of 2014 as an associate. Her primary area of practice is civil litigation with an emphasis on nursing home negligence, products liability, mass torts and other serious personal injury matters. Lindsay also has a particular affinity for representing victims of sexual assault and harassment, and has helped victims in civil lawsuits as well as in pro bono cases. She is also passionate about Title IX and ensuring all people have access to equal educational opportunities, free of sex discrimination. She has lectured extensively on this topic to other lawyers. Ms. Cordes currently serves as the Partner-In-Charge of the Louisville office of Thomas Law Offices.

Ms. Cordes has previously served on the board of the Women Lawyers Association of Jefferson County as President, as well as numerous other leadership positions. Ms. Cordes is former associate member of the The Louis D. Brandeis American Inn of Court. Animal rescue and adoption are one of Ms. Cordes’ passions and she is currently a board member on The Animal Care Society’s Board of Directors and serves as Vice-President. In her free time, Ms. Cordes volunteers with The Animal Care Society and enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Adam, and three dogs, Baxter, Charlie and Jim. She also enjoys scuba diving when she gets the rare chance to go.

Tad Thomas has dedicated his practice to representing plaintiffs in various types of civil litigation, including personal injury, business litigation, class actions, and multi-district litigation.

After graduating with his law degree in 2000 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, Mr. Thomas immediately opened his own private practice and began representing injury victims.

In 2011, Thomas Law Offices was established in Louisville, Kentucky. Over the past decade, Mr. Thomas has expanded his firm and now has offices in three additional locations: Cincinnati, Ohio, Columbia, Missouri, and Chicago, Illinois. He is also a frequent lecturer on topics like trial skills and ethics and technology.
