When Do You Need a Personal Injury Lawyer?

Wrongful injuries often happen suddenly and unexpectedly. Accidents can cause more than just a mere cut or scrape—sometimes, the injuries can put you in the hospital. You may have to take extended time off work and spend a considerable amount of time recovering. The injuries may be painful, and you may find that everyday activities such as showering or reaching for objects may now be extremely difficult.

While this is a lot to take in, you can get an attorney to help you with the financial side of this. With a favorable settlement, you won’t have to worry about how you’re going to pay back medical expenses and afford future care, medical equipment, or medicine. With this burden off your shoulders, you’ll be able to focus on you and what you need to be doing in order to get better.

The lawyers at Thomas Law Offices are skilled in personal injury law and we know what it takes to get results for our clients. We’re not afraid to stand up to companies or those who seem “untouchable.” No one is above the law. If their actions caused your injuries, then we will investigate the case and gather the proper evidence to prove they were at fault. They’ll know that they cannot continue to act like they did before, and this could possibly prevent them from doing something similar in the future.

We help clients with the following types of cases and more:

  • Car accidents
  • Truck accidents
  • Wrongful death
  • Medical malpractice
  • Nursing home neglect

Even if you do not see your case listed above, we encourage you to get in touch regardless. We may be able to provide assistance.

Don't wait. We're ready to fight.

Frankfort—Our State’s Capital

We’re proud to help citizens of Kentucky’s capital. It has a long history of importance in our state. The city was founded in 1786 and was established as the capital in 1792. Frankfort is also the seat of Franklin County. The capital’s history shows its resilience, as the capitol building burned down. In these times, those from Louisville and Lexington tried to take the seat of state government, but Frankfort persisted.

The city trades in many different kinds of products. Bourbon whiskey, machinery, auto parts, tobacco, maize, and Thoroughbred horses are just a few examples of what the capital has to offer.

There are plenty of attractions to see in Frankfort. Those invested in history may want to visit the Kentucky History Center, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and can even find the gravestones of Daniel and Rebecca Boone, a famous pioneer couple who now rests in the Frankfort Cemetery.

Nature lovers can visit the Salato Wildlife Education Center, which educates visitors about local flora and fauna. There are opportunities to see the natural beauty of Kentucky—prairies, mountains, rivers, and more. Go for a hike on the trails and enjoy all that nature has to offer. One can also visit Cove Springs Park, which is a nature preserve where you can see waterfalls while hiking through the forest.

Thomas Law Offices Stands Up for What’s Right

You don’t have to deal with insurance companies and file a claim on your own. With one of our Frankfort attorneys at your side, you’ll have an expert to guide you through the process. We’ll make sure you don’t do anything that could accidentally jeopardize your claim or give a reason for you to receive less compensation than you deserve.

Personal injury cases have a statute of limitations. This means that there’s a time limit for when you can file your claim. Typically, people have about two years from the accident to make a claim, but sometimes the limit is different. Get in touch with one of our Frankfort personal injury lawyers as soon as possible so you don’t accidentally miss the window, which could mean you can’t make a claim or receive compensation. We’ll know how long you have to make a claim and will go over your legal options.
